This section will feature a non-Ufologist's point of view. A voice of those who are not deeply involved with Ufology or the paranormal.

We asked ten people on the streets of New York, to describe what they saw in the pictures of the Mars "tubes" anomalies. We did not tell them what they were looking at, only what they thought they might be.

Here is what they said.

Steve G.37 Duluth, MN- "They look like some kind of tubing or something. Like a plastic housing for wires or something."

Kelly R. 24 Bowerton, Nova Scotia Canada- "It looks like a microscopic picture. A blow up of something small. Is it?"

George B. 29 Brooklyn, NY- "Looks like a fossil. A snake belly or something. Maybe a lizard."

Latricia D. 23 Morristown, NJ- "Looks like an underground tube. Is it on the ocean floor? One of those fiber optics housing things?"

Peter J. 16 Brentwood, NY- "A tunnel? Maybe an underground tunnel. Or pipe."

Margaret B. 59 Newton, NJ- "Looks like a tube of some kind, maybe buried in the sand or on the ocean floor."

Carl F. 33- Los Angeles, CA- "Could be a tube. Maybe for an electric wire harness. Maybe a pipeline for oil or water."

Justin M. 21- Phoenix, AZ- "Is it the pipeline? The Alaskan pipeline?"

Melissa&Melanie M.24&26- Seagate, NJ- (Melissa)-"I think it's a pipe or tube, buried in the dirt." (Melanie) "I have to say, yea. It does look like some type of pipe or something. Maybe it's a vacuum hose."

Mark K. 43- Nashville, TN- "Well, it could be a worm fossil blown up. Or maybe if it's big, it's a giant water or gas pipe. Can't tell for sure."
