We do to little too late!

Current situations that have arisen, are interesting, if not long overdue. The class action lawsuit that is gaining momentum against the AMA and the big drug companies is noble, but may get snuffed out in its infantile state.

Several people have gotten together, claiming that the AMA and big drug companies have gotten themselves mixed up in a huge conspiracy to not only create conditions, but drugs to treat them. Now mind you that this is something that I for one have been saying for years, and I am not alone.

The suit claims that drugs like Ritalin and Adderal, which are used to treat ADD among other things, were created to address marginal health issues at best. At the very least the case proves that more then just a few doctors have been guilty of giving the shit out like fluoride. Kids are not only selling the stuff on the black market to their fellow students, but mommy has been popping them for her own pleasure.

Yet as long as little Johnny can't seem to focus on his schoolwork during baseball season, doctors will jamb drugs in his face. ADD is a national epidemic, and there is not a single difference in statistical comparison from ten years ago in actual cases that are in need of medication. Just like 10% of the population will always be gay no matter what we do, there is a percentage that will be worthy of the ADD tag. However, doctors and the AMA in general need to make money. And the collective stupidity of the general public will continue to allow them to do it.

Attack the drug dealer on the street polluting our youth with illegal and some dangerous narcotics, say how you want to murder him justly. But let Dr. Happypill give out addictive and dangerous narcotics with nary a scowl in his or her direction, because you believe your best interest are in mind. It is a hypocrisy in and of itself, lined with massive financial implications. The cost of health-care is out of control, and yet we are so stupid as to not see why.

You as the consumer, have to act like a consumer. Medicine is a business, and these drug companies, or CLSs as you know I like to call them (Cartels of Legal Narcotics) are among the richest companies in the entire world. They didn't get that way because they have your best interest in mind. If you think they did, you need to wake up. Pick any one drug company, look at their revenues from any year you want. Then look at the amount of money spent on independent research from cancer, diabetes, AIDS, pick your poison. The numbers will astound you.

Remember something people, doctors, drug companies, and insurance companies, make no money if you are not sick. They like you sick, but not dead. So it is in their best interest to give you whatever "syndrome" you want. In other words if you look hard enough, everything is wrong with you.
